This weekend: Minicon

This weekend, I’ll be at Minicon, the Twin Cities’ longest-running SF convention. No scheduled games, but I could certainly run something if there’s interest! And I’ll be on a panel that promises to be really interesting: “Twin Cities Ties to Gaming”, about the history of RPGs and other games, and how the Twin Cities are in many ways the ancestral home of gaming culture. The panel is Sunday at 2:30pm — I’d love to see you there, or just at the con.

  1. Wonderful! Please take note for those of us who can’t be there, if you could! There’s an awful of of very rich local history in gaming from the Twin Cities, and I think it’s great that pioneers like Richard Tatge are finally getting some attention.

(Following up on one of your previous posts about the history of gaming in the Twin Cities, this ancient fossil will be running an old-fashioned “Braunstien”-style game at The Source on June 8th; if you’d like to see how it was done in Ye Olden Dayes, feel free to drop by!)
